ERRATA

After this book had gone to press the estate settlements of Daniel Minnerly (#20) and William Minnerly (#25) were found. Both men died in the Town of Mt. Pleasant, Westchester County, New York. Each document names the children of the deceased.

Daniel (#20) page 15 died 27 January 1845 (tombstone); died February 1845 (estate settlement).

Children:

Also named is Daniel's widow, Permelia (name written Permina) , who died 9 August 1849 before his estate was settled. (Date of her death is given in the document.)

William of Yonkers was still alive 11 April 1850 when he acted as administrator of his father's estate.

William (#25) page 7 died 3 November 1844 (estate settlement).

Rachel Minnerly (#49) married Stephen See and lived in New York City, not #39. (Named in her father's will.)

Daniel Minnerly (#20), wife's name Jemima, not Permina.

Daniel and Jemima's son, James, born at Greenwood, now Arden, New York, 16 October 1801, died 28 August 1847; married at Ossining 22 November 1823, Elizabeth, daughter of Gilbert and Eleanor (Cudney) Griffen. Elizabeth was born 25 July 1802, died 25 July 1884.

James and Elizabeth (Griffin) Minnerly had:

Eliza Jane married James S. Bush. They had 11 children. Georgiana married Stephen D. Weber. They had 3 daughters. Information from Esther Minnerly Bush.
